Overview
Zee Jamil is a Certified GENOS International Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and the Founder of Healing Hub Malaysia, delivering workshops and training programmes for employees, students and children across a range of topics, with a strong focus on emotional intelligence.
Having built a presence through mainstream media, radio, television, podcasts and social platforms, Zee already had a wealth of experience and content to share. However, her digital presence was primarily centred around Instagram and TikTok, making it difficult to bring together her work, expertise, programmes and media features in one central place.
Zee reached out to Wayarless to establish a stronger digital footprint, creating a dedicated platform that could represent who she is, showcase her expertise and provide a clear starting point for people looking to learn more about her work.
The Challenge
Turning a wealth of content into a clear digital structure.
Zee already had years of experience, programmes, media appearances and content to draw from. The challenge was that much of it lived across Instagram posts, Stories and Reels, with a large volume of information covering different events, audiences and topics. Before development could properly begin, we needed to make sense of that content and identify a structure that could bring everything together without losing what made Zee's work unique.
Another challenge was helping different audiences find what is relevant to them. Zee runs programmes and training sessions tailored to different groups, from employees and organisations to students and children. The website needed to make these distinctions clear, so visitors could quickly understand which programmes and resources were relevant to them.
Finally, the website needed to be built with what comes next in mind. With new programmes, events, media appearances and updates happening continuously, the platform couldn't be designed only for what existed at launch. It needed a scalable content structure that could grow with Zee's work, while remaining practical for a one-person operation to maintain and update after launch.
The Approach
With such a large amount of existing content, we didn't try to catalogue everything at once. Instead, Wayarless worked backwards through Zee's recent events, programmes and activities from the preceding few months to identify recurring themes and establish a practical categorisation for the website.
We then worked closely with Zee to fill in the gaps, refine the categories and make sure the structure reflected how she actually works, not just how the content happened to be presented on social media.
From the beginning, we also treated scalability as a priority. Programmes, events, media features and other content were structured so that new entries can be added without requiring the website to be rebuilt or restructured each time.
And because Zee runs much of the operation herself, our role doesn't end at launch. Wayarless remains available to support her with ongoing updates, maintenance and changes as her work continues to grow.
The Outcome
The project is still very much a work in progress. With years of content, programmes and experiences to bring into the platform, there is plenty more to organise, refine and build. Rather than treating launch as the finish line, we see it as the foundation for what comes next.
As Zee and her team begin loading and refining the content, Wayarless will remain closely involved to make the transition as smooth as possible, provide ongoing assistance and continue adding to the platform as new programmes, events and opportunities emerge.
Most importantly, this has evolved into an ongoing partnership. Zee Jamil and her team have engaged Wayarless on a monthly retainer for continued maintenance, updates and development, allowing us to stay involved beyond the initial build and continuously scale the platform alongside her work.
The website is no longer just a project to launch. It's a digital platform we're continuing to build together.
